The Finance Division was set up to assist labels, artists, and bands who don’t have the time or inclination for bookkeeping and administration.
We will reconcile and balance your accounts to the end of the financial year, the accounts are then ready for your Accountant to process your end of year tax return with IRD.
This may involve communicating with the Accountant throughout the year as required.

Media & Entertainment Royalty Services aims to provide a 360 wrap around service and will liaise with accountant’s and artist/band management.
We have relationships with accountants in the industry that we can recommend.
Nondisclosure Agreement:
MERS will provide a signed Nondisclosure Agreement to signify that a confidential relationship exists between our two Companies and information shared will not be made available to any other entity.
Dedicated Email Account:
We suggest that your Company sets up a dedicated accounts email and shares a login with MERS so that all accounts invoices and inquiries can be sent there and can be accessed and action. This way the data remains your Company’s property and under your control.
